Vueling, la primera compañÃa low cost que une Madrid con Gran Canaria
En declaraciones a Europa Press, el responsable de Relaciones Públicas de la compañÃa, Alfons Claver, señaló que en los comienzos la aerolÃnea operará cuatro vuelos semanales directos con Madrid –los martes, jueves, viernes y domingos– y, a partir del mes de junio, se prevé tener “hasta cuatro vuelos diarios”.
Claver indicó que la compañÃa se convertirá en una operadora “muy importante” para viajar de Canarias a la capital de España. Los vuelos directos desde el Archipiélago también serán hacia Sevilla aunque esta lÃnea comenzará mañana y la frecuencia de dichos viajes será de cuatro a la semana, lo que implica una apuesta “bastante importante” por el aeropuerto de Gran Canaria.
Claver apuntó que la compañÃa se planteó realizar rutas hacia Canarias –esta mañana también aterrizó otro avión en el aeropuerto de Tenerife Norte– porque “se podÃa crear mercado”. La compañÃa aérea informó de que la nueva ruta supondrá una reducción del actual nivel de tarifas en torno al 50%
De esta forma, Vueling operará ahora en unos 15 aeropuertos nacionales, entre ellos, Barcelona, Ibiza, Madrid, Málaga o Valencia. Además, la aerolÃnea ya realiza vuelos hacia ParÃs, Bruselas, Roma, Milán, Lisboa, Nápoles o Atenas. En cuanto a los objetivos que ahora se marca Vueling, el director de Relaciones Públicas subrayó que se centran en “asentar lo que tiene” en los aeropuertos nacionales e internacionales.
